Jay Eddy earned her MA in Music Theatre from The Royal Central School of Speech & Drama in London. Recently, she was named a Playwriting/Screenwriting Fellow by The New York Foundation for the Arts. Her work has been presented in London, Edinburgh, New York, New Haven, and Maine; as part of the 2015 New York International Fringe Festival, the 2015 Fringe Encore Series at Soho Playhouse, and the 2014 and 2016 Portland Fringe Festivals; and in residency at The Dragon's Egg and The Barn Arts Collective. The original cast recording of her ballad play, Holler, An Appalachian Tragedy, was called "a joy to listen to" by Ear to the Ground Music, and her debut album, ALL THE BOYS, was named a "Top Album" by No More Division. Her works-in-progress include: The Girl from Bare Cove, based on her experience as a survivor of sexual violence; a musical neo-western called American Wild set in a dystopian near-future in a United States; a rock show about doomed love, suicide, and selling your soul to the devil called 28

So far, upcoming projects for 2018 include: Cabaret at Lyric Hall (Sally) and One Year of Sonnets.

She splits her time between New Haven, New York, and Maine.
